Firefox SiteBar Sidebar for firefox.

Installing SiteBar Sidebar for Firefox is pretty straightforward. The close ties between SiteBar the web application and the Sidebar container make that this Firefox extension is found with the SiteBar project. The version above here is for internal reference, you can install it as long as you know what to do. You can download this extension on the integrator page of the SiteBar you host, or at this page on the SiteBar that you registered to.

Integrator Page (part)

Click the link that is encircled and a extension installation box will apear

After a few seconds the "Install Now" button will be available, click it to download the extension and invoke the installation.

When the download is complete the following message will be displayed in your extension-list:

After restarting your browser there will be a entry like this in your extension-list:

The 3 buttons are standard for all installed extensions and are top-down the preference box, about box and link to SiteBar's homepage. All installing is done now, have fun with the extension.

Before uninstalling SiteBar Sidebar 0.9 you have to make sure that the sidebar is closed, if not, the uninstall will corrupt your Firefox working profile. Untill I have a work around for that you will have to make sure to close the sidebar, now let's start.

Open your Extensions from the Tools menu:

After clicking the "SiteBar Sidebar 0.9" entry the uninstall button will appear.
Last warning, did you really close the sidebar? If so click "Uninstall".

The following message will be displayed in your extension-list:

Restart your browser and all traces of SiteBar Sidebar 0.9 will be erased, ready to be installed again.
